Attention SafeGulf Companies and SafeGulf Instructors:

SafeGulf Instructors: At the last meeting of the SafeGulf Advisory Group (SGAG), after much discussion and voting, the group elected to raise the "passing score" for Test-out. The new passing score for Test-out will be 90% effective May 1, 2007.  Students that do not attain a passing score will not be given the opportunity to re-test.  Students will be required to attend a full SafeGulf Orientation class to obtain a SafeGulf ID Card.  If the student did not pass the Test-out, Instructors must ensure that the SafeGulf database correctly indicates a failing (F) score for that Test-out.

SafeGulf Companies:  At the last SGAG meeting, PEC/Premier was given the green light to institute new SafeGulf polices and procedures to close gaps that were discovered while conducting SafeGulf audits. Step one of the new polices and procedures will be to gather an accurate list of instructors that teach the SafeGulf program within each company.  Please have each instructor complete the SafeGulf Orientation Instructor Information form.

Get the form by clicking here.

Follow the instructions listed on the form upon completion.

If you have any questions please contact PEC/Premier at 1-866-647-2338.
